Nestled within rolling vineyards, Lynmar Winery is a magical garden escape. Celebrating the origin of the name “of the Sea” the entry design incorporates undulating topography with swathes of purple and blue perennials, with grasses that are animated by the wind and mimic waves.
The existing Winery has a magnificent pollinator, edible garden that supports an array of butterflies, bees and birds, as well as humans. In an effort to expand outdoor tastings a side garden was created under a crisp wood trellis amongst the grasses and perennials. An additional trellis extends from the building facade expanding into an outdoor room. Bluestone paving and decomposed granite paths circulate guests through the gardens to flexible spaces for small groups or larger events.
